On this page are some frequently asked questions that get asked regarding Nate Bot by Users.

How do I add Nate Bot to my Discord Server?

To add Nate Bot, you need to click the Invite Me button above on this page or on the main Nate Bot website. You should be given an authorisation menu. Select your server and then the Bot should be added to the server, followed by a redirect to the Nate Bot success page. You can also refer to this guide too.

Where are the list of Commands?

You can run n!help for the Full list of Commands or checking out the Command guides here on the sidebar!

Nate Bot is not responding to the commands I execute. How do I resolve this?

This relates to the Music System. Your only way to fix the issue is wait a few minutes for the Bot to respond or otherwise restart Discord or your Internet Router.

How much Level XP Do I Gain?

You will gain around 0-25 XP per message with a 1 Minute Cooldown. Every Level, you need 680XP to level up. You can also buy the Double (x2) XP Power-Up which will give you 0-50 XP Per Message with a 1 Minute Cooldown.

Is Nate Bot affiliated with the HiveMC?

We are not affiliated with Hive Games. Although many of the Nate Bot users come from the Hive. The Bot is nothing to do and are not related with The Hive. We are 100% independent.

How do I change my background on the Profile and Level Commands?

If you do have enough Nate Bot money. You can buy a background change! All You must do is click the [+] button at the chat (located at the bottom). Select an image that is either a .png, .gif or .jpeg then in the "Add a comment" box. Type n!background <image link> (for Profiles) or n!levelcard <image link> (For Level Cards).

How do I earn Nate Bot Coins?

You can earn coins by doing the following awesome things:

  • Levelling up Each Time will give you $120

  • Fishing every 1 Minute will vary in earning coins

  • $40 for Getting an answer correct in the Quiz or Pokemon Commands

  • Winning games such as Hangman, Connect4, TicTacToe etc.

  • Redeeming your Daily Balance ($250) and Weekly Balance ($5000)

  • Winning Slots will give you 2x more than what you bet.

  • And many other ways!

Am I allowed to use Alt Accounts on Nate Bot?

Alts are defined as users having 2 or more accounts to use on Discord, Minecraft or other services. Some services do allow users to use alt accounts while some don't allow them. Discord doesn't allow users to use Alt Accounts if their main account was banned. On Nate Bot, you are allowed to use Alts as long as they all follow the rules. We treat every account individually unless in the most extreme cases where we will have to punish those accounts (either owned by the same user or another case) repeatedly breaking the rules. We aren't liable or Responsible for your alt accounts being banned.

In this case, you are also allowed to use alts if you already have a punished Discord account on Nate Bot, provided you don't keep breaking the rules on them.

How do I modify the "Nate Bot User" Nickname and/or "A Random Person" description?

All you need to do is run n!setinfo <sentence> if you want your About Me changed or if you want to have a cool nickname, run n!nickname <word>

Can I spam commands?

The answer is a big NO. This is due to Nate Bot being constantly monitored by the owner, staff and Developers on every command usage and feature. There may be outcomes if any command or feature gets abused.

You must follow the rules listed here and if you were banned for breaking the rules. You must then follow this guide on how to appeal.

Can I disable the Leveling System?

There is no way currently to disable the Levelling System. However if you feel like the Level Up Messages are interfering with your server, you can disable them by running n!settings

How can I add Badges?

You can add badges to your Nate Bot profile by running n!badges. There you will be given a Store of Badges. These range from Default Badges to Weekly Badges that are changed anytime.

Badges are completely cosmetic. Meaning that they are valuable (especially Weekly Ones!) and purely show how awesome you are!

If you want to buy a badge, you must run n!badges buy <slot1-6>. The number represents the slot so you can have up to 6 badges!

Some people have custom badges because they either won a giveaway from the Hangout Server or are a close friend with the Bot Owner.

How does the Change Prefix work?

If you do have Admin Privileges on the server. Changing the prefix is easy as, all you need to do is run n!prefix <symbol> and the prefix will be changed for that server only. Mentioning Nate Bot will give you the prefix!

The Default Nate Bot prefix is: n!

Nate Bot has a lot of features that many popular bots have but why the small server count?

Can I view my Nate Bot Stats online?

The ability to do this is not available yet. In the future, we will provide ways to view your Nate Bot Statistics and leaderboards via a website. For Developers that want to get statistics by API. This may be coming soon.
